Moffat Mountain Rescue team is a SCIO charity, and whilst we have received some funding from the Scottish Government, this is not assured going forward and it does not completely cover our costs. We rely on donations to help maintain team equipment and the base, provide replacements for equipment to keep it safe to use (such as rigging), consumables (such as medical equipment) and that needs to be upgraded (such as radio networks). We rely on the generosity of the public to maintain our service.
