Winter Training 2022 Part 1
Sun, 27th Feb 2022This weekend, 9 members of the team visited the Northern Cairngorms near Aviemore to refresh and practice winter skills – ranging from personal skills like movement across winter landscapes to rescue skills such as simple technical ropework and team avalanche burial response. Our thanks to our Winter Mountain Leader Bill Dallas for helping us have a great weekend.
The team worked in some challenging conditions, specifically wind up to 70 mph gusts, but this provided good learning opportunities and the other half of the team taking part this year head up in a few weeks’ time for their turn!
